This three hour tour of Florence is history-packed. Skipping the line at the Florence Accademia, we take you straight to Michelangelo's masterpiece, the almighty David. There, you will learn why this larger-than-life statue is the pride of Michelangelo even before the Sistine Chapel. With Michelangelo's unfinished work in his Slaves you will learn about his sculpting methods. Time to go to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, often presented as Florence Duomo. This 1436 church is the home of one of the largest domes in the entire world and the story around its building is of epic proportion. You'll hear the whole thing as you take on the church from the jaw-dropping Piazza del Duomo. Moving from one incredible location to another, you will wander through the open air museum that is the Piazza della Signoria. As you reach the massive Palazzo Vecchio learn about the Medici; a family of bankers whose name crossed the boundaries of Italy and Renaissance followed in its wake. Stop by the Ponte Vecchio, Florence's most famous bridge for a souvenir picture of your journey.

If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next availabe date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.
